First Holy Communion

Our program provides an opportunity for the children to continue to grow in their awareness and understanding of their relationship with God and in particular how they are united with Jesus Christ in a special way through Holy Communion.

Introduction

Children attending schools other than St. Michael's School prepare for the sacraments through regular attendance at weekend Mass. These Masses provide an opportunity for children to worship with their family {as well as receiving special instruction about the Scriptures during the Children's Liturgy at 9:00 am Sunday Mass}. Formation sessions for each of these sacraments occur on dates as advised. Attendance by the child with at least one parent is required.

We Are currently accepting enrolments for the sacrament of First Holy Eucharist in 2025

Important Documents

Please complete sacramental enrolment form and return to St Michael's Parish Centre no later than two weeks prior to the commencement of Reconciliation or First Eucharist classes. Late enrolments will not be accepted after the program has begun.
