Safeguarding Children and Young People - Code of Conduct Declaration for All Volunteers

Introduction

Archdiocesan clergy, employees and volunteers are committed to upholding a duty of care to all children and young people and taking all reasonable steps to protect children and young people from all forms of abuse and harm. Therefore, the completion of the Child Safety Code of Conduct Declaration is a requirement of a person’s engagement within a Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne parish, agency or entity.

Please click here to download, read and sign the Declaration Form. The completed form can be emailed to the Parish Office at ashburton@cam.org.au or if you are unable to access through the website, we will prepare hardcopies to be made available at the church or to be collected from the Parish Office when we are able to do so.

Please note that if you are on any of our rosters as a volunteer during Mass or is a member of any of our Parish Committee, then you are by definition a Volunteer at St Michaael’s Parish.
