Working With Children Check + Police Check

"The requirement to hold a current Working with Children Check and police check applies to all clergy, employees, volunteers, and contractors."

The current Child Protection Legislation of the Government of Victoria and the Archdiocese of Melbourne (Child Safety Code of Conduct) require that a register of Working with Children Checks (WWCC) and Police Checks are updated and kept current. The requirement to hold a current Working with Children Check and Police Check applies to all clergy, employees, volunteers, and contractors.

Therefore, all volunteers are requested to apply for WWCC and Police Check then email a copy of the to Parish Office at ashburton@cam.org.au when it comes through. If you currently hold a WWCC or Police Check, please ensure that St Michael’s parish is added as a place of volunteer and email a copy to the Parish Office.
